A day + 1 - 1 December ( Part IV )

And just to ilustrate the advantages of an Ipad here is Filipa sitting on the museum entrance after it closed checking her mail:








It continued to Rain a lot but later in the evening, our friend Mirian took ups to the top of this hill since the clouds parted a bit and we were finally able to see the sun! In the next photo of me and Mirian you can see how bright was the sunset




That gave us the oportunity to take some nice shots from Canberra's Old and New Parliament and the War Memorial :



Awhen we were taking the pictures we just noticed that 20m from us downhill were two Kanguroos: a female and its cub.




The mother kangaroo was were quite small (about 1 meter height) and they were attemptive to human noises but not showing any fear. After seeing a Kangaroo in the wild we finally had the confirmation that we were indeed in Australia!
