A day + 1 - 1 December ( Part I )

So in the first day after our arrival to Canberra we still had to sort the internet service to iPad. Although I got a free micro sim card from Vodafone and I only had to charge it, the activation procedure required an Australian address and phone number so I stoped activating it until I would ask Dominik if I could use his address and phone number. I was actually lucky to stop it, because it happens that Vodafone didn't have cell coverage in Airlie Beach where we will stay some days from now. After a quick trip to the mall we found out that other company had coverage in that area and for 30 AUD I got a total of 3Gb downloads to be used in a month.

Before lunch the rain stopped for a bit and we managed to get out of the Shopping Mall and to see some of the strange sculptures they have in the shopping district in central Canberra

  2. Thanks you for warningvabout the comments. i had forgot I had turned moderation on to avoid spammers. The rain continuesbut we managed to visit Byron Bay and I'll post pictures later of the dreaded Bluebottle Jellyfish! We saw some at the beach..very little ones but I'm almsot sure they are the dangerous ones... However there were no signs and there were lots of surfers in the water.
    Cheers
